  1. As it says in the title I have acquired a load of pure water 25litre empty containers. I personally use them round the birds daily and for camping also. I have sold many off these to the equine world as well. Apparently if you fill them with sand they make perfect pole holders for jumps as they lock together when stacked. They are extremely tough and long lasting and need no rinsing before use. The more you buy the cheaper they get. £3 per container and preferably collection from Hampshire unless you want to organise a courier. I will try and post a pic if I can work out how to. Cheers Rob.
  2. Any of you guys going? I will ber camping for the entire duration as we do every year and we have a big old spread going on. (bbq etc) so feel free do drop me a message and drop by for a beer and a natter.
  3. Hi all, Long shot I know but does anyone have a cheap 20 bore for sale? preferably O/U, condition not important. My daughter has reached an age (only just) where she feels she can now give up her .410 single barrel. we aqttanded a clay shoot the other weekend and she tryed one and shot very well with it. Between us we have £350 to spend ( its good to get her to pay a 1/4 then she will look after it). Thanks in advance.
  4. hi if you pm me your address i have some .22 hornet which i see aren't on your list and will gladly send you can also get 220 swift if you haven't got one. (will have to speak nicely to the keeper.)

  6. now let me get this straight as i don't know wots going on really it seems that bsa shaun is going to drop out at the last minute when it was his idea. still i'm happy to come and meet and greet but wot i need to know is if i'm NOT going to shoot do i still need to pay any money? if so how much and who to please don't want to upset any one after all.
  7. always none as one nick name "ZED" as when i was young we moved to new zealand so when i came back and started school here again they named me that because i was from new Zealand clever i know but it has stuck since
  8. ah thats a good idea? a release pen with no electric fence is asking for trouble  once a fox is in a release pen you stand to loose all the birds in the given pen as he won't kill just to eat. granted it's a deterent but in my opinion a much better one than snares
  9. i,m with you on that one stuartp lots of food and drink i think for me

  20. how did i know this post was coming........... i think you missed my point russ i don't mean any offence but you really need to get your self out there when i started at 14 i used to ride ( bicycle ) 12 miles to the head keepers house do a days work and then ride 12 miles back all that for £25 a week. but it led to other things if you really want it bad enough you'll do any thing to get it and believe me when i say if you do it i think it's the best job in the world
  21. I've had this done to me by a part time keeper who was trying to intimidate us into stopping doing pest control on the farm, despite the farmer setting out he only controlled the game shooting and not the pigeons and rabbits. I might add that when they turned up I was in the farmhouse having a cup of tea and had been shooting with the farmer himself Sometimes its best to check all facts before doing it especially as farmers don't like unwanted police attention and really its them that should be doing the calling i think your absolutly right there mate as wasting police time is not funny. This only proves a point i made earlier in a post as to the fact that i always ring the person that i have the permission from to let them know where, when & why and i always ask if there is any one else about. this way i am sure that any one shooting there should or should not be there. one place is 4000 acres and i am good friends with the keeper one phone call will see him coming with his bull mastiff that is designed for the job. need less to say that we don't get many problems there.
  22. aw mate brings back some memories seeing that lot. i used to hate biting as we used to do it in the huts hot sweaty and dirty work.
