I think that was the intention but doesn't seem to have worked out as easy as that. NPPC worked for me as it was as/when I was free.

There is a lad who's taken it up and doing best he can but doesn't seem to be getting very far at the minute. Hopefully he cracks it but it sounds like its hard going

Does anyone know of a pigeon syndicate still operating in N Yorks? I used to shoot with NPPC until John passed away last year and have found opportunities a bit hard to come by since.

What were the carts you used on the Pheasant and Partridge out of curiosity?

This is the same for me. I too bought a slab of non toxic for the season (Gamebore #4, 32g ‘standard’ steel) and was dumbfounded by the number of pricked birds, runners and ones that just flew on after a puff of feathers. I tried the carts on pigeons and again, less than impressed. Maybe the ‘superior’ or ‘HP’ stuff is better but I’m in no rush to spend my cash to try it

x250 (1 unopened slab) of Hull steel game, 32g #5 . This is 'standard' performance steel so is suitable for standard proofed guns with 70mm chambers. Bought for decoying but didn't realise they are a PLAS wad 🤦‍♂️ so have been left unopened. Paid about £120, looking for £90 back. Based in Harrogate, happy to drop them off/meet within a 15 mile radius (Leeds, Ripon, Wetherby, Pately, Otely etc.)
