Just had our renewal through for the wife's Audi insured last year for about £290 with the post office this year on their letter "Best renewal price is £396.99" gave them a call and they can now offer me £327.86. What really annoys me is how many best prices they have. I pointed this out to the lady on the phone, "how come the Post Office send me a letter saying the best price is then straight away you can give me a better price". I politely told her I will not be renewing as they are dealing in underhand tactics to over sell their product. Checking online I can get the same cover elsewhere for £242.00. So please people do not accept your first renewal have a chat and a google. Rant Over

Has the enjoyment of reloading been taken to a new level ? Reason I ask, all I see is mind boggling posts, that do nothing to encourage new or just started out folk, And to think they could add there opinion without the thread being taken beyond the realms of a NASA analyst .... So how many of you have spent your hard earned pennies on something lately, only to find it doesn't work? Then been fobbed off with all sorts of un truths and carp, until you have to push? In the last couple of weeks, I've bought some o rings that were advertised with the implication they were from the Airgun manufacturer as oem parts. 3 out of 5 broke on fitting, so after some email tennis and me establishing they were not infact supplied by the manufacturer, and pointing out the advert was misleading and possibly misrepresentation, they back tracked fast and refunded the money, I bought a Yukon photon two weeks ago. In principal, a fabulous piece of kit. Zero'd it, shot some bunnies. A day later, I tried to put it on another rifle. Couldn't get zero as I hadn't realised the windage was 1 click from maxed out. Swapping back to the original rifle, its clear something is loose as max windage is still 2" off bull at 10 yards :o Spoke with the shop and they said all nv units are like this need adjustable mounts £70 and shimming. Tosh! "Then why didn't you say that when I bought it from you and the normal 30mm mounts you sold me" Sent it back at my cost of £8, arrived with them yesterday. They phoned today. Didn't look at it yesterday,can't look at it today as its half day, can only do it at night, cos its a NV (not true). Sob story, "I will have to give up my personal time to look at it after work So maybe Friday or Saturday"."It will take a long time to set up and test" More tosh, Strange, I seemed to be able to clearly see through a Yukon mounted and zero'd on a 243, 2 o'clock one sunny afternoon 4 weeks ago and no scope has taken me longer to mount than 10 mins. Ii will be less than an hours fiddling to realise its faulty and pop a replacement in the post to be with me Friday, and a refund of my postage would be nice Not impressed so far and will name the shop if it drags out with more un truths and excuses. The list is endless. Whatever happened to making sure things were fit for purpose before selling them to the customer, and polite efficient customer service when thing go wrong? On the positive side, Chambers gun spares, Best fittings, Uttings, Air Arms, Chichester Armoury are all absolutely as good as it gets with customer service and efficiency from my experiences, particularly Chambers.

just this minuet been a trailer on tv for channel 5 Monday 9pm "TRAVELLER FUEDS" ........ IS IT JUST ME BUT WHY THE HELL DO THE TV COMPANIES FORCE THIS JUNK DOWN OUR THROATS . I FOR ONE DO NOT WANT TO WATCH OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIEVING TOE RAGS!!!!!!!!! sorry for the rant but relatives of mine have had money/property stolen by the so called "TRAVELLERS"... so I have a very negative attitude towards them

Ok,iv just managed another birthday & a few things occured to me during my oh so special day,which have set me to thinking... My day of delights started with opening 6 cards..... 6 ****in cards ! Loads of text msgs recieved instead, i can only assume that royal mail will only deliver bills from now on, My gifts consisted of pants socks and teeshirts... No scalextric,rc models nah ****all.... Moving swiftly on i treated the mower to a service and cut the poxy lawns,thought about weeding the garden but thought **** it.... This is were i got a tad spooked,after much deliberation on what exciting things to do next,i switched the radio on,heart faliure nearly got the better of me when i noticed the saved favourite channel was Radio 2... How long had i been on this ? God knows.. Half hour after my entrepid trip in the garden and i find my backs hurting in places i can no longer reach and my ankles were itching to a point of biblical proporsions, further investigation reveals most, or( what looked like most) of my pubes had collected in the top of my (new) socks...... After hoovering up ,i note that the best part of the day was over and whats more, the miserable OLD ****** iv now become !!!! OOOH i carnt wait for next years party.bta Rant Over
