I can only assume you mean the fuds oakey, well i have trialed them out.but firstly i need to stress i have nothing to do with these decoys whatsoever i know they come from up north. and my review is totally unbiased i was at the midland game fair, and saw the stand selling them and thought to myself these look ok il give them a go,so i parted with my dosh and walked away with 3 boxes.i had set aside a couple of hours last thurs with the intention of giving them a test.right the field i set up on had recentley had peas on it,but **** law the farmer had ploughed it all up,leaving a semi rough finnish in prep for wheat.right the trudge began armed with 6 half shell,6 silosocs and 6 fuds.all the patterns where set out in the middle of the field, with each patern being an identical horseshoe a space of 10 metres was left between paterns.then i went and sat about 80 metres away in my landrover armed only with my binos. after 15 mins pigeons started to land in the fud patern then pigeons flew over the shells and silosocs and landed smack bang in the middle of the fuds.after 2 hours of watching and keeping score i found that 1 pigeon landed in the silosoc patern,0 pigeons landed in the shell patern and 23+ had landed in the fud patern,i say 23+ as i failed to put a mark on my pad as the bloody phone rang, but i was still watching.i did notice that nearley all of the pigeons that landed in the fud patern stayed on the ground longer than they would in other decoy paterns i have used when out with the shotgun (ideal for an air rifle) when i 1st got to the field another lad was just walking over the field with his decoys and he set himself up at the top of the field and set himself up near to a spot i took a guest to a few weeks ago and my guest shot about 45 pigeons,in the 2 hours i was there this lad managed to get 4 shots off.

Note to mods,if i have caused any problems with the naming of decoys etc, please feel free to dump this post

Note to other members, lets please not start a war of decoys or a slagging off match i have posted this for you to make you own conclusions.and dont buy these decoys on account of what i have written.

Still a shame though.........they are flying out from the shop.

Unfortunately, if you post anything postive about them on this forum, it either gets removed, or you get banned.

Wonder whos next.........................

:P What.....they are THAT good!

Not according to this man;

''Hi mate,

I brought some of these at the game fair. Used them a few times now, they work, but not on their own, you will need a flapper/bouncers and/or a rotary

I dont think they are any better than shells or any other decoy really.

One good thing is they fold flat, but that's not worth the asking price.

Who are you getting the rotary from?

Paul''

Oh, we have had quite a few of the local lads in who have been having great results.

My strongest suggestion. DO NOT MIX FUDS WITH ANY OTHER DECOY.

The idea behind the fud is to be as life like as possible in regards to a static decoy, therfore if you are mixing the FUD with any other type of decoy, say half a dozen shells then you are still getting the effect of the shells etc.

Best results so far are using them in the pattern without any of their additional decoys.....stick a few bouncers out and the FUDS and away you go.

lancs yes your right we should be able to post both positive and negative comments, the problem is maintaining objectivity,

and not to make the post come over as a blatant advert or product bashing, the recent they are the dogs whatsits post without the things actually being used in anger being a prime example, when people start to use them if they are happy with them they will post, then the best form of advertising "recommendation" comes into play and they deeks will "fly out the window" even quicker I mean look at the hype with the sinclair C5 we were all going to get one er until they were actually used and proved bloody leathal

Personally, My magnet goes out away from my decoy pattern. a good 100yards or more away.

I have the terminators/Greenhunter style bouncers pulling into the pattern from about 50 to 70yds.

I then have my decoys spread out 30-45 yards from my hide.

Thats my set up.

Ive had great days using the air pros Chrispti. Likewise, people have had great days not using them.

I dont know why, when we try to offer advice we seem to get shot down for doing it, Ive made a personal statement to the mods on here that I wont openly post any advert for them, mention them or start a topic thread about the FUD decoy. However if there are people out there that want to know, or want to ask questions, that I will post a reply.

Do I personally think that these are at present the most visualy life like decoy out there right now..........Yes.

Are they more life like that shells, full bodied birds................................IMO Yes.......

The rest of you out there. Please make up your own minds.............Im sure you are not all sheep.

KDUBs.

Considering that I am the only "other shopper" left on this forum then Im holding the flag. However, like I said, Im only posting a reply to questions that have been asked,

I have PMS from people saying that posts get deleted when they ask about them.

So, EVERYONE OUT THERE..............Unless its constructive or a question then please keep your fingers to yourself. That way its all peace and harmony...........
