Counting Terms

Ok we have had the funny terms used but I recently had a "discussion" with a workmate regarding numbers,

 

ie in what order would you put the following. My list so my order is as follows :lol:

 

1 = 1

couple = 2

few = more than 2 less than 5

several = more than five less than dozen

dozen = 12

Many = more than 12

Shed loads = lot more than 12

**** load = twice as many as shedloads.

 

Unless talking to the missus about how many pints than all bets are off :lol::lol:

Well if referring to the number of rabbits seen in an area I would probably go something like......

 

1 or Single = 1

Couple = 2

Few = 3-4

Several = 3-5

Handful = 5-10

Dozen or so = 10-15

Bucket Load = 15-20

Shed Load = 20-50

Teeming = 50+
