turk101 Posted July 19, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 (edited) cranfield wheres the rows of rolled rape?as i said in another post i've about 8 good sized fields of complete rape stubble but when i looked there was not a single bird on it ..... Cranfield Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 If you notice, the rape is cut and spun/rolled to one side, which gives you the stubbly bits. Thats what I call "rolled rape". The problem with reconnaisance of swathed rape fields, is that you can't often see the birds on the crop very well. They will usually be in the stubble rows, not on the rape itself.
