Markio
So i've got a few vinyl LPs, nothing major, example the original Guns and Roses Appetite for Destruction banned cover (rape scene) and the Hendrix Electric Lady Land Nude double LP cover. Just wondered how to date them, see where they when pressed, if they're originals i'm lucky and will sell them accordingly on eBay. Any music buffs out there? Toombsy
Hello mate, Appetite for Destruction - their debut album. The cover featured a robot raping a woman - that was released in August 1987 and reached No 5 in the UK, No1 in the US. It is an original and was banned very quickly after it's release - within a fortnight due to the picture. Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland (great double album!!!) was released with that cover in November 1968. Jimi Hendrix didn't want the naked girl on the cover. Most shops had to sell the album wrapped in brown paper bags. It reached No1 in the UK, No 6 in the US. Got any more you want me to look into?? Markio
Do you only buy naked women / rape related album covers or do you collect gimp, beastiality and orgy related stuff too Yeah it did worry me as i was typing it all out. It's alright really, i'm no perv, i just stick to gas masks and rubber like all good honest salt of the earth working type scum. There's nothing my missus likes more than hearing me utter "I am your father Luke" during muffled foreplay through a replica WWII German gas mask.
