garyb
Does anyone use bushing style sizing and seating dies...? Specifically Redding ones ? I've measured my neck diameter to be 0.250 - what size bushing should I buy, some say 0.249 others 0.247 Help ?
Dougy
depends on which brass you are using. i have .248-.249. The thickness of the brass determins the die to be used to be quite honest its a bit OTT for what i use it for, if i was into BR and neck turning then yes i would get more out of them, and to there full patentual. Very good dies though.
Dangerzone
0.247 Subtract 0.003 from measured neck diameter
Browning
Measure neck dia with bullet seated, then subtract .002"/.003". For field loads I prefer .003" so no chance of pulling out bullet when unloading.
