Cranfield
My Pinewood Advantage works as well now, as the first time I used it and its had more use than most rotary machines. I have never heard of anyone having gear box problems with theirs. I would certainly contact Pinewood and see what they had to say.
M ROBSON
when we first used the pinewood magnet they went quite often, I found the problem was the gearboxes were geared up too much. When you switched the power off to to motor the momentum in the pigeons drove the gearbox the wrong way, from the output side! This isn't good in high ratio gears. Since then they have bought better gearboxes at a lower ratio and faster motors to compensate for this. I'm sure if you get in touch with them they will send you out a new gearbox no probs, Mark.
