Cranfield
Hey Game bore, we had a good morning at Keston, apart from the occassional rain showers. They made Dead-eye,s make-up run, he got really upset. Where were you ? We kept looking for a blue and white ice cream van. It was really busy, due to other shoots being cancelled because of waterlogged ground. I have no idea who was "Top Gun", as our cards were waterlogged and the ink had run. Cranfield
Game bore, we were still there then, must have been after 1pm when we left. Didn,t you notice a good looking gentleman, shooting an English sidelock sbs (Lanber packed up), accompanied by two rather scruffy, but faithful servants ? I was impressed with the pleasing aspect of the stands. Being set in the woodland they felt very "natural". There were quite a few delays, as they had to go and get more clays. As I said, they were a bit over-run with customers. What other clay shoots in Kent to you go to ?
meandassey
Scruffy yes, faithful? Not so sure - sir!!
Game bore
I've been to Dartford before, but you've probably done that one. A lot of the blokes from our club go to Caterham, and some go to Horne which is one of these mobile shoots which changes location to avoid the 28 day rule, havn't done that one, its advertised in Sporting Gun. STOP PRESS:- Just bought a good rough shooter sbs 28ins choked 1/4 and 1/2, non-ejector, Spanish make beginning with U that sounds like a striker for Real Madrid, hardly used £80.
