Fuddster
Interesting one, I have never known a warrant sworn out by a Magistrate based on only uncorroroborated verbal information. If it was a case of the wrong house ie raiding no.11 when it should have been no.12 then yes, straight up recompensation. Otherwise, they can show thay acted on sound information, so I'd say no. regards fudd
Justintime
ALSO! i have had the "live scan" done and as i am aware this will not be destroyed now that the case have been dropped, surely this is an infringement on my human rights! RC45
They don't need an excuse. I got a mate who is a businessman and very well respected. Hi business is mainly cash and now he has had everything impounded by SOCA (not sure of the spelling). The reality is, if your off the radar your ok. As soon as your put on the radar, they can do whatever they want. Like it or not they are the law and if your marked you have lots of hassle. If I were you, I would keep my mouth shut and try to stay clean. Those guys have so much **** to deal with, it's not worth causing them anymore agro. It would only take one more call from anonymous again and your life could be a nightmare. For what it's worth. Phil
Gordon R
Pour some more petrol on the fire. SOCA just do not go around doing what they want. They are a professional Agency. The last post is just silly.
hurstpol
I fell into the trap of offering advice here, it is the wrong place for this type of post, you will get flak from every quarter, it is a no win situation, there is always someone with an agendum who will have a go at you, it is a sports forum, and if I see a post asking for advice, I now ignore it even if I have the answer, this is unfortunate as it is the minority yet again spoiling it for the majority, but as they say "There is one in every village" Frank
