Starman
The bike belongs to my cousin and I will happily put anyone who is interested in touch. due to a change in circumstances i gotta sell me blade.900 sovs gets it pretty certain this is sold now to somone here, but have had lotsa messages asking about it so heres some more info just in case things go tits up.. two owners before me, both known to me, so absolutely no issues with paperwork, hp, insurance, finance, medium or heavy accident damage, claims etc first owner..bought it new, the 30th blade to come into the country, fell off at walking speed on left hand side lightly damaged engine cover and scratched fairing.never bothered to repair it used it for several years like it second owner, honda mechanic, fastidiously changed oil and filter every 2k (and covered over 40k in his ownership)..ignored engine cover, painted fairing in horrible colours, then fell of at walking speed on right hand side, fitted full stainless and alloy yoshi(road legal but converted to race) re jetted carbs, had front end revalved with ohlins springs, fitted harris rear sets, braided lines, undertray, mini carbon indicators, stupid number plate ..used bike for another eight years then stuck it in the shed for two third owner, me, dug it out of his shed, fitted new battery, number plate, pumped tyres up, started first time with the old petrol innit, rode it home, stripped fairing off, didnt need filler anywhere just lightly flatted scratches out, painted everything satin black, fitted missing or bodged fastners, mot'd it, taxed it and then had a all too brief few laughs on it before putting it here running bloody lovely with 58k on the clock. good things..very strong lively motah, no mechanical or structural issues, no hidden damage of any sort, straight paperwoprk all present and in order, one gen honda key bad things..pads worn in front calipers so you get the occasional small clunk when hitting the anchors.... nanosecond hesitation from carbs when coshing it changing gear and getting throttle hard back on, possibly due to standind for two years and wanting carbs cleaned out..its never been a problem to me so i havnt bothered. and thats it. helluva lot of bike for the dosh..pics show how light the previous damagewas.. tyres, chain and sprockets all ok and it comes with all the standard bits and a haines manual.. Starman
Not sure about tax& test but I remember him taking it for a test and that cannot be more than a couple of months back and I assume he taxed it about the same time. I also have my own GSR600 on a 56 plate which I will be putting up for sale in the next week or so. 6,800 miles on the clock around the £2,600 mark I'll start a thread seperately once I get me finger out and take some pictures etc.
jackinbox99
Very tempted myself, but my missus would kill me, ive already got an R1, a VFR750 and a ZXR750L2. Have to say the K reg blades were cracking. A mate had one for a while and performance wise, my dyno`d ZXR was neck and neck with it. Mind you, my mate was 10 stone heavier than I was. lol.
