henry d
Max pro for me, especially with the dimmer
albob
if you decide to try a different lamp,i would get a scope mounted lightforce 170 with dimmer, great battery saver and you can alter beam from spot to flood and distance via the dimmer. also if you move up to centrefire or stay with rimfire and get a .17hmr,then the 170 will do that and more. i use mine on the 22lr and hmr and use it handheld for centrefire when out foxing with shooting buddy. al
onlyme
I have the max with the dimmer scopemount and handle. Good bit of kit out to 200yards with the red filter on. Perfect for all rimfire shooting. My only gripe is the scopemount could be better. Good deals to be had just a case of trying all the gunshops online. In hindsight if I was making the purchase again I'd buy a lightforce 170 and a 13 quid 12v battery from maplins with connectors. The dimmer is a must in my opinion saves battery and allows you to scan for eyes without disturbing wary bunnys and foxes to much if there a bit lampshy.
