Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Early start today was on the field at 0730 hrs still darkish for the first hour only saw corvids flighting in there hurdreds. I stood by some tall beeches knocked down two for the whirly setup on the other side of the field with the wind at my back near the end of a line of willows . The birds was flighting up them pulling in perfect shot many 3s with at times 3 dead in the air. I only had to 12 at best as a I had a job in the afternoon, but finished with 187 in only 3 1/2 hours. There was at least 6 to 7 thousand birds flighting onto the badly drill wheat due to poor seed bed behind me. I out again tommorrow if does not rain. Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
Would add piccys but having real problems on this site with being oversized I not a huge pc buff. Also not being a bighead 100 or so birds is not a huge bag for myself as I regularly shoot 100 200 . So I dont take picture all the time but I will try to do so for the readers in the future. One thing I did notice today was the huge amount of younger birds even though upto full weight in the bag maybe 40% .
