unclestuffy
A friend of mine asked about the best way to keep squirrels out of a building without having to seal every hole - is there a "chemical" substance that will work or is the best way to thin numbers Thank you
Lez325
seal every hole with Chicken wire or shoot them with an Air rifle to avoid damage to the building Les
Heladoxa
LEZ 325 is about right. You will have to keep the shooting going for a while, though, because neighbouring squirrels will come in to fill the empty places. My neighbour did it to stop squirrels from ring barking her trees. She has not seen any for two weeks, but it took 68 dead squirrels to get there.
lasbrisas
Little ******** dig up my lawn to bury their nuts and then again to dig them up. I am forever taking pot shots at them with the air rifle but they keep coming back. I have tried all sorts of things including a movement sensor that send out high pitched sounds. peck
i have heard that extra strong chilli powder is good at detering squirrels, make it into a paste and spread it about where the squirrels are trying to enter.
unclestuffy
Thank you - sounds like a never ending job to put chilli paste on everything with a bit of shooting Thank you
