Boarding Kennels in Essex/Suffolk

Well it looks like the Sweepys are off on their world travels yet again.

So we are having to find homes for the dogs(about three weeks)

Now the Springer is off to stay with friends who had her last year.

But as they had a male dog they couldnt take the Clumber.

So Sammy went and stayed with some other friends of ares.

Unfortunately this is not possible this year.

So am afraid it looks like Sammy will have to go into Kennels this time

Now i think most of you will know by now that Sammy is my baby. :stupid:

And the idea of putting him into kennels really do put the fear of god in me.

Never had to kennel a dog before .

So what am am asking for is could anyone recommend

Any really good kennels in the Essex/Suffolk area.

Sammy has lived in a kennel before but he now lives in the house (his laying across my feet as i type this) :good:

It is going to be so hard for me to leave him as it is.

But to also leave him in the kennel is going to be unbearable. So i really want to make sure that i pick the best for him

So any help would be appreciated :yp:

great offer MC, that would be good option for mrs sweepy and also for yourself as your dog will get used to having another dog about.

there is another option also mrs sweepy, what about kenneling both of your dogs together,(thats if they get on great) they will have each other for company and it won't be too hard on them.

Also MC that dog in your avatar looks great :good

Thank you for your very kind offer Martin.

I could not think of the better person for Sammy to be with.

And i would know he was in very safe hands

I just dont think your garden would be able to take Sammy.

This last year he has turn into the worm hunter.

His sense of smell is something else.

And he will go round the garden nose to the ground till he fines one .

Then well i think you can guess the rest.

I once had a lovely Garden. Now it is quickly turning into one giant hole.

I would hate the same to happen to yours

Plus we are not going too Easter so i reckon you will have your hands full with the new pup by then.

But thank you for your offer much appreciated.

Ricky

I have the bitch and dog.

I think you can work out which is the boss.

Both dogs get on fine but i think you can safety say that the bitch just tolerates Sammy because he is their(they both the same age so know no difference).

But they never share anything she has her part of the house and Sammy has his . The only time they meet up is when Sammy feeling a bit rampet and want to try his luck.(bit like Sweepy and myself) His usually sent packing with the flea in his ear.

The dog not Sweepy .

So them being together is not really a problem for us.

Anyway thank you chaps for the help and advice.

And thank you martin for the phone number.

Going somewhere Sammy might get abit of training in wont do him any harm  His still is a very full on Clumber . :good:
