air gunner
Hi i have a bsa supersport gas ram air rifle. today i was playing around with the selection of pellets i have collected. i usually use the RWS superfields however i put a eley wasp 5.6mm pellet through and it made a ting noise. what is this noise? the RWS do not make this sound but as soon as i place a wasp in and fire the noise appears. james w
is it the pellet or gun making the noise?
humperdingle
The pellets are a touch wider... Take the silencer off and try.
the big shot
Most other pellets are 5.5 mm eley wasp in the blue tin are 5.6mm better suited to older guns as the bore is 0.1mm larger. If you use eley wasp in a newer gun use 5.5mm in the purple tin. Edited December 27, 2009 by the big shot
