DaveB916
I am hoping to pick up my modded 9mm today, so will post pics this evening hopefully. I have just checked my carts and Fiochi do 9's .... not quite 6's but a bit better than 10's. I also have some Floberts in 10's and some Eley's unmarked. They are a good gun for close up work on rats and pigeons, particularly around farm buildings/stables. Dave B
DaveB916
Just Carts are advertising Fiochis in 7.5. Dave B
colombacci
Hi vince, in regards to killing maggies with the 9mm shotgun, i can confirm that yes they are very capable of knock flat kills, (my experience). i would be shooting them on the ground not flying in the garden scenario. whilst crows i have found to be quite "hard feathered" magpies are wonderfully soft very killable like pigeons if the shot is in the right place. cheers, G
colombacci
Hi dave, looking forward to seeing your 9mm. I know fiocchi (or whatever it is) do make 6s. It is just a case of finding someone selling them. haha. 10s are still very useable, in particulary for the rats cheers, Guy
DaveB916
Ok picked the gun up from my local gunsmith today, thanks Aaron, it fired 4 carts first time, followed by four more from my son. So the new firing pin and mods have worked nicely.......no more misfires.....and really quiet for a shotgun..... The gun: And what 2, 7.5 carts do to a beeer can at 10m: Dave B Edited December 22, 2009 by DaveB916

lasbrisas
Not a clue and not a clue .....sorry. Dave B I'm interested in one of these, I take it you bought it moderated then. Have seen a few new ones for sale for about £200 but not moderated.
DaveB916
Yes bought it already modded, not seen another one so was happy to pay good money for it. It had a habit of misfiring so had bolt/pin refurbed, now shoots fine. Dave B
Ricko
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but.. weren't they known as Number 3 Garden Guns (9mm) and .22 shotguns were Number 1 Garden Guns. What gauge were Number 2 Garden Guns???

I'm gonna see if I can get a normal one and get it modded.
DaveB916
Its the full length of the barrel, if I get a momnet later I will start another thread with a few pics of the gun stripped it easier to see what has been done then. Apologies for hijacking the thread a little, as I said I will start another. Merry XMas. Dave B
