eddoakley
my cabinets are not the best and are not lined and have no dividers/racks. as they are a bit full i thought i would put a bit of pipe lagging, the grey foam type, directly onto the guns/barrels. anyone got a reason why this wouldnt be a good idea? It seems a very cheap and easy way to add a bit of protection. Edd
doodie doo
Hi Edd just an idea? Cut the foam about 3ins, then cut through into two halfs giving you two cups to rest the gun barrels in. Using double sided tape stick the foam to the back of your cabinet.
Dekers
Always difficult this but that is a primary reason why ALL my guns live in their sleeves in my Cabinets (I know what many are thinking) and I have 3 Cabinets and yep they are a bit full! Perhaps time to consider a bigger or additional cabinet!!
JT1
Alternatively, you could use the magnetic backed divider/rack you can get on the net/ebay, I think they were developed for resting guns against vehicles, but being magnetic I'm sure you could use in your cabinet and cut to length.
