MerseaDavid Posted January 22, 2010 Report Share Posted January 22, 2010 I have done it before and it does help bring them abit more to where you are sitting. I dont normally bother because I tend to move around alot and like to travel light. If I do want to decoy the birds where I am shooting then I will tend to just use lofted decoys because these will work better and stand out from further away and pigeons will decoy well to them and the pigeons inspect to see birds in the trees and not on the ground.
