pigglet
I have ahad a apair of Tays for a few years now. They are a great boot but the sole is not as good on steep terrain as you might expect, in fact it's fairly rubbish. I thing it must be too open, despite looking aggressive. I got my mum a a pair of grubb stalkers a year ago and they have a much better sole. She stays on her feen going down banks near us where I'm on my ar$e

flytie
I bought Tays and they are very, very comfy indeed. I would without hesitation buy another pair. ft
WGD
I would go with Grubs on the basis they offer (on the Stalker model) a Vibram sole and Muck Boots don't.
