Billy.
Drop me a PM next time you see an App that you want to waste money on. I have the majority of iPhone developers on my database and they send me all the promo codes to get their Apps for free. I do feel rather sorry that you wasted your money on that App though.... Looks good, but not worth £
wildfowler.250
What does it allow you to do? Harfordwmj, is their any shooting related iPhone apps you'd recommend? I was also considering the ballistic app; have you got it/is it worth getting ? ATB CZ452
SSS
Harford, do you have any blackberry apps on your database or just iPhone? Regards, Sam
Billy.
ATB CZ452 A guy called Jon makes the Ballistic App. Funnily enough it's probably the one App I can't get for free, but to be honest it really is the best piece of kit I've used. Basically a ballistics calculation tool, but it's on steroids. A realoader's dream...! You'll need to fully read the instruction manual online to see what it does. http://ballistic.zdziarski.com/ Don't waste money on predator calls. They're just the same as the ones on the internet and your hand will make a better/louder squeak. Harford, do you have any blackberry apps on your database or just iPhone?Regards, Sam I've got a couple of guys who are BB developers, but it's not really a big area for me. As the facts go, Apple hold a 99.2% market share of the mobile application stores... So it'll probably give you an idea why I don't really bother with BB...! What are you after? There isn't a great deal for the blackberry anyway.Cheers It's a business device for people to send emails and make phone calls. They hardly have any processing power and even if Blackberry did bother to make a stab at Apple, the majority of their customers wouldn't instantly take to all the new apps, I believe. Don't get me wrong, the BB is a good phone, but Apple have got it spot on and everyone is trying to better them.

Looks good, but not worth £12 I will remember that thanks Its a good little app yep probably not worth the £12 but it was what I was looking for Contacted them last night as they don't handle non standard shoots i.e. Copfurn being 80 [current options 25/50/100/200] and they were going to amend it Also other shooting disciplines are being added this week Phil

Billy.
Who do you work for that keeps a database of all iPhone app developers? Don't mean to be nosey just wondering? Cheers Will I'm a recruitment consultant. I am basically the only person in the country/world who solely looks after iPhone development vacancies, so I spend day in day out talking to developers. Any new App that gets released (I have a feed of every new release) and I am straight on the phone to the developer Edited January 26, 2010 by harfordwmj
utectok
Do you know my buddy jim at digital forge then? Sailling apps mainly. Perhaps he is too small a developer though for your bussiness. Edited January 26, 2010 by utectok
Billy.
Do you know my buddy jim at digital forge then? Sailling apps mainly.Perhaps he is too small a developer though for your bussiness. I don't know him by name, but I'll have to look on the system tomorrow, to see if I've attempted to contact them. I did have the site bookmarked, I know that much! I make around 2000 calls a month, so it's quite easy to forget who's who...! No development company is too small though, as I can also push work towards smaller companies, rather than try to place people, as I get loads of requests for Apps to get created.
