My lanber weighs near 9 lb which i find a lot when walking around with it for a whole day. Its good for my wildfowling and clays but otherwise its a bit much,

I am looking to buy another gun witch i will use for walked up days and other times when i dont want a heavy gun.

The only previsos are i dont have that much cash so gun must be cheap, ( £750 max) so it will probobily be second hand) and ammunition mustnt break the bank.

I dont mind caliber, or make, any ideas chaps?

I'm in the same boat with a Lanber Sporter. Seems the answer is a light 20g but which one :drinks:

Well of course you could always go for the Lanber Field which weighs in

at around 7 3/4lb I have had one for longer than I care to remember.

If you are going to walk round with a gun on your arm for long periods

you will probably find a side by side more comfortable generally they are

lighter (obviously not fowling pieces) and have a wider forend to spread

the pressure on the crook of the arm. I have an ancient 12b Master that

gets an outing on rough days where I expect to be out for a good while.
