donk
Stupid question for the day: I have taken a browning 425 12G O/U, but not fired it yet. I have just noticed that with snap caps in it will only fire one barrel - either top or bottom depending on which is selected. Without going out and frightening the neighbours by firing off some cartridges I want to find out if the recoil from a cartridge is needed to make the second barrel live, or is there something wrong with it? I will find out soon enough but it is really bugging me. Anyone have a quick answer?

arjimlad
Flicking the safety on & off between trigger pulls also resets for the second barrel, if I recall correctly.
