Bluebarrels
Found these in the shed this afternoon, totally forgot i had them the crow/pigeon decoys are for demonstration purposes only :look: the homemade cradle (the black one in the above photos) are made from wire coat hangers from the dry cleaners, not quite as bulky or heavy as the shop bought ones. They take about 3 minutes per cradle to make, and present the dead bird nicely (obviously real birds fill the cradle much better than a plastic decoy) 1.Shop bought cradles are a couple of quid each (green one in photo) 2.These homemade cradles cost 5p each to make (black one in photo) 5p is the cost of the hanger from the dry cleaners all you need is 1x wire hanger 1x pair of pliers 2-3 minutes of time and 1x shop bought cradle to use as a template, shooting is pretty slow at the moment,so use the time to make a few of these cradles, they really do present either crow or pigeons very nicely BB Edited February 13, 2010 by Bluebarrels

steve_b_wales
I've made some out of coat hanger wire as well. To join the parts together, I either use some thin wire, then cover it with glue, via glue gun, or thin copper wire, then soldered.
