cartridge prices

Prices only ever seem to go one way for sure.

As for the "weak Euro" I think you need to look back over time. Right now it is about 1.15 to the pound, which is weak compared to the almost parity we had of late but it used to be around 1.60.

Yes was Hollow farm,, i think after these lot are gone they will be going up about £10 per thousand!

i might just get myself round for a thou then. although a tenner increase over a thou shells isnt a crippling increase to be honest. a friend told me steel is going up now for some reason! nearly same price as the lead gbs

Getting back to the original thread i cant' understand how shells loaded in spain are cheaper than British Loads. I used to shoot nothing but Eley but The GB's are great value for money and a decent shell, even their steel loads out peform the express equivalent that i used at the start of the season!!

It was Hollow Farm I was at on Saturday and Gordon was saying he is trying to get cheeper shells elsewhere. Bear in mind though, all the 2 an 3 pounds put on a case recently plus the 3% rise due in a week or 2, then the talk is the VAT is going to rise. That tenner on the thousand won't take long to turn into a twenty.

Just thought I would brighten up your day.. :good:
