Paddy Galore!
thanks for the replies and avice guys ...was wondering how far away would you put your target? No further than you dare shoot! is the rifle zeroed? personally i'd try one at 20yds first pointing down hill just to make sure it hits the target, if the zero is ok then 100yds witha safe back stop, can't remember if you said you'd shot one before, but 100yds will be far enough to see if it's behaving itself or not. Paddy Galore!
no worries mate, just remember if it isn't modded it can buck and kick a bit, so keep hold of her, and wear ear plugs! if it's got a decent mod on there then she'll be a pussycat, just dont be complacent. jamie g
yes make sure you wear something on your ears because your soon have earing problems if shooting the 22/250 un modded. i would have the tikka m595 you can get on guntrader for around the same price as the one you have been offered. a better rifle all round. and great to rebarrel in the future. 55 grain sako gameheads will be good on the deer. for fox the winchester silvertip factory ammo is very good. in 50 or 55 grains
