lineshooter
Years ago they used to be very good, but things move on, if its a genuine Tasco Ok, but there are so many inferior products from China it`s hard to tell. I foolishly brought a Tasco scope of the net because it was cheap and of course when it arrived...... Does it have to be a Tasco Scope ? steve_b_wales
Genuine Tasco scopes are normally of good quality. The HAWKE range (especially ENDURANCE) of scopes are good value for money, and most carry a 10 year guarantee.

lineshooter
Depends what model it is and what you are shooting at, but only you will know if it`s any good as you are using it at the minute. Do you shoot with a friend that has another make of scope, so that you can compare them. I have three Hawke scopes and as said, they are a preety good choice if you are on a budget. eddoakley
I just bought a hawke 3-9x50 from the other sales on here for £30, posted with mounts. it is brand new in the box and will happily sit on hmr, or in my case on the .22lr for a cheap knock about and do the job perfectly well. No need to spend a fortune. Edd Edited February 18, 2010 by eddoakley
