The one i get confused over is the "...for zeroing" part. On my cert no where does it mention target shooting. Does this mean that i can ring plod and ask him to change the conditions of use to add target shooting without charge or do i have to get a letter of authorisation for every range that i want to use?

Is it something to do with land deemed safe to shoot by the Chief of Police(CoP),although are,nt shooting grounds vetted by the MoD.I can't see the Mod stating a ground is safe to shoot for a certain calibre and the CoP disagreeing

Good Question though because I joined a Rifle Club after a few years as a Varmint Shooter and this particular club is'nt stated on my ticket so i'm in a similar posistion to you Sarg .

Hope My Understanding is correct :lol:

Hi guys,

I do a bit of target shooting and my FAC states that I can use the rifle "on MOD approved ranges"

Which basically means any club or open range as they all have to approved by the MOD/Home office.

I applied for 500 round to buy and hold 600 and it was not even questioned.

Cheers

MC
