I have only used it on my air rifle and can say that it compares very well- on a noise scale of 1 to 10 I would give it 8 (a Parker Hale would be 4 and a HW would be 10). It has scratches on the front end (as shown) but they are purely cosmetic, it's light and quite short (14.5 cm) so if you want a decent mod that keeps your gun length down this is the one for you.
