retromlc
there's a feature on it in one of the national shooting mags which will help,in brief, wear camo and a camo face covering keep very still until the last second possible it must be windy of they will come in as a flock and drop onto the roosting tree stand 20 meters downwind of the target tree look for loads of pige poo on the ground around the tree be prepared to move location,so no hide required,as the tree they settle in will depend on where they have been feeding(apparently) don't miss(which is where I fall over )
berettaman
Just a quick timely reminder-If you are moving around the farm watch out for electricity pylons or wires that are strung close to trees 1 so you dont shoot at them and 2 so your lofting pole doesnt come into contact with the wires sounds obvious but theres been a few deaths due to this sort of thing
Sundodger
If woods you are in are on the side of a hill or slope get up high and at the edge of the wood watch and see where they are coming from and where they enter the wood, ( this where you need to be) forget the lofters as they will restrict your movement around the wood shoot at all birds that are in range even if it is thru branches (small ones) if it is windy do as above but move into wood and intersept the birds as they go to roost. there is loads of other things to take into account but that would take a small book to rewrite on here. have a good day.
