Andy17
hi all, now that the warm weather has gone i have started to cut back on the dried food for the ferrets. This is the first year that i will be feeding my ferrets primarily on meat(mainly pigeons and rabbits). How much meat do you guys/girls feed your ferrets each day?. Do you feed whole gutted carcasses to them or for example de-breast pigeons and feed each ferret a breast each twice a day??. Does anyone use mince meat if so how much how often?? thanks in advance yis andy17
rushy lad
I feed mine on a rabbit(gutted) that will last three of them roughly a day or so. Also it wont do them any harm to keep on with the dried food every now and then. A pheasant will last a couple of days as will hare etc. I fed mine on what I catch or shoot and also fresh road kills. Magpies etc they will eat the lot. Rushy.
Cranfield
I remove any uneaten food from their quarters daily. Ferrets like fresh fish, as well as meat. B)
