shot shot
you can make as much as you want, but only hold however much is on your ticket (apart from expanding heads, they count as a round on their own) Edited March 8, 2010 by shot shot

DaveK
As usual it depends. If you are a target shooter you can hold as many bullets as you like but only make up the max reloads you are allowed to hold. ON THE OTHER HAND If you are using expanding ammunition, the bullets are section 5 and each one counts towards you maximum hold. So if you are allowed to hold 200 rounds you can only buy 200 expanding bullets to reload. If you then make up 100 and buy 100 bullets to replace them, you now have 300 and are over your permitted allocation.
Vince Green
There have been a few attempts by various licensing authorities to move the goalposts on this one. They managed it with expanding bullets and there is a bit of pressure on with primers now in some areas. They have stopped the mail order of primers, more or less, and now some FEOs are saying primers have to be kept locked up. I believe there is a wish in some places to restrict the number of primers you can buy to the number of live rounds you can hold. So far they have not succeeded but its like a dripping tap. The trouble is if you are law abiding it is just going to cause you more inconvenience but if you are going to break the law these regulations won't stop you. So whats the good?
