garyb
The good lady and myself are attending Gundog day (this sunday) at Crufts this year. Has anyone seen a published schedule of the "working dog" displays / events etc? I.e times and locations ? I couldn't really give a toss about a pampered lab / spaniel / retriever in the show ring, but am keen to make sure I don't miss any of the working dog events put on by BASC and the like... Perhaps David Basc has an idea on the proceedings ? Anyone else going ? http://www.basc.org.uk/en/media/pressrelea...838112CFE48D2F7 GB Edited March 11, 2010 by garyb
al4x
I've got a friend of the missus who is up there showing flatcoats so I'll see if she can get a list,
al4x
I take it you don't mean something like this http://www.crufts.org.uk/files/kclub-crufts/YKC%20Ring.pdf
garyb
That's just one ring... I want to know about the BASC ring rather than the main (boring) ones

MC
I went to gundog day a few years ago. I was very disappointed. None of them looked like any gundog I have ever seen. The obedience was incredible to watch though. Be prepared for plenty of walking around though and there was nowhere to sit.

Whilst I see your point... kinda. You will find a good number of true working dogs on the day. Last year (maybe the year before) I saw some of the Timsgarry / Hawcroft cockers for example, and had a quick chat with Simon. BASC have a ring there, hence why I put this post up! I wanted to get an idea on times / locations of the smaller real working dogs area's of the show which never seem to be covered in the entry programme.
