SPARKIE Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 ive come up with anouther idea for my target holders i can now illuminate them........so when zeroing at night with ordanary targets the holes light up and are definately easier to see also the light illuminates the whole target whice helps zeroing at night. They are supplied with a mini mag light single aaa size which the beam can be adjusted on and due to its compact size is less suseptable to ricochet damage. The holders will stand upto .22lr quite easily. NOW FOR THE PRICE 7" HOLDER WITH MAGLIGHT POSTED IS £28 A4 HOLDER WITH MAGLIGHT POSTED IS £31 PM ME FOR ORDERS PLEASE THANKS MARTYN. longrangesniper1953 Posted March 11, 2010 Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 Hi Sparkie Mate Only thing that I would say about your Idea is it could do with some sort of Baffle Plate behind the Target for the pellets to strike on, perhaps with a little catch tray at the bottom. If some one put that target Holder up as you have show it in the pictures and fired at it even with a Legal limit 12Ft lbs it still might go through the fence boards, not to mention if it was an FAC version, Airguns and their users get enough bad publicity without anything else, just needs an accident with kids playing at the other side ! God forbid. Not everyone is Safety conscious when Shooting, I would hate for it to spoil your Good Idea ! Other than that your Idea is a good one, people don't think sometimes and only see the Target, consider making an accessory Baffle Plate or Catcher plate maybe on 4 legs behind but above the light , which will also allow to incorporate the mag lite below. SPARKIE Posted March 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 11, 2010 I understand your concerns but the holders have been developed for use with rimfires .22lr and .17hmr. id also hope that anyone using one would have a suitable backstop and be using them in a safe area.
