kighill
I have just sold my Rapid M11 .177 and regretted it the moment it went out of the door, the plan was to get a Rapid 7 on FAC. Less than one week after its gone, I now realise it would not be such a good move and my children would not be able to use an air rifle on FAC. I may just keep my eyes open for a Theoben Rapid in .20 BUT having just visited a gun shop I have seen a VERY VERY nice Daystate Ranger brand new but sold as used the previous owner put a handful of pellets through it. The gun is being sold on behalf of the unfortunate owner who apparently has a few legal problems? I am not sure how or why this effects the gun which is not a FAC. The gun is fitted with a sound moderator and Nikko Stirling 4.5-14x50 Laser Lampscope which also comes with a shooting light and battery. (At least that is what I think it is) I believe he paid £1200 for the whole lot? WHAT IS IT WORTH? PS I sold the Rapid for £500 so have a limited budget available. Al Downie
WHAT IS IT WORTH? Around £750-800 for the lot I'd guess. PS I sold the Rapid for £500 so have a limited budget available. In that case it's definitely worth £500!

kighill
Phoned the shop up today and offered £675 with the thought of going up to £700 unfortunately the shop wanted £850 and were unable to contact the owner to pass on my offer, I believe the owner may be on 4 squares meals a day. Alas my budget will not stretch any more and I would of pref. it to be for less!!
Dekers
Pricing anything is difficult as every set of circumstances are different, the simple glib answer is, it's worth what you are prepared to pay for it and what he is prepared to accept for it!! :o :o :o
Colster
my children would not be able to use an air rifle on FAC. Why? If they're with you on land you have permission to shoot on and the land is cleared for that calibre (not a big ask for FAC Air) then they're fine to shoot a FAC rifle (air or otherwise). A FAC Air rifle is a very specific tool but if you have land that suits/requires it, they're fantastic pieces of kit.
