Frenchieboy
I'm having a clear out and have a few items that might be of use to someone. First I have a set of Optus 20-60X60 Spotting Scopes. Porro Fully Coated Optics - Magnification 20x to 60x - Near Focus 12 M @ 20X - Field Of View 29M/1000M@20X - Scope Dimensions 355x100x110mm - Zoom Eyepiece 20x-60x - Smooth running focus wheel - 360 degree rotatable Scope - Pullout Sunshade - Dust Cap - Tripod with Pan Handle - Soft Carry Case with Carry Strap - This scope comes boxed and in "As New Condition". I would like to see £40.00 posted for it but please feel free to make a SENSIBLE offer! Second is a Genuine Brown Leather Platted Rifle Sling. This sling is identical to the Bisley Platted Sling but I can not say that it is a Bisley as I am not sure! It is in quite good but used condition. The leather is clean and only has a few minor marks from wear and tear. Swivels are not included with this sling. These slings are going on fleabay for around £20.00 plus postage so I would like to see about £14 posted - This is a very reasonable price so no offers on this item please! Thirdly (And lastly) I have a Bipod. This bipod clamps straight on to the barrel and will fit any barrel up to 19mm diameter. The bipod is in Used Condition and has a few marks on the coating and the barrel clamp adjuster and locking nut. It extends from 10 to 12 inches in height. I am not sure on the value of this bipod so I am going to ask for £20.00 posted but if you feel that this is too high please feel free to make a SENSIBLE OFFER. Please not the gun used in the photo is not included! I can accept payment by Direct Bank Transfer, Postal Order or Cheque (Please not that payment by cheque will require time for the cheque to be cleared in my bank. These prices include postage to UK mainland only! If you require any further details please feel free to ask me! This is the scope that Aldi was selling in February, right? I raced to the local shop to get one, and got there at 9.30am only to find that they'd all been snapped up by twitchers who had been queuing since 8am. Bastids. I would have paid £40 for one at that point, but I've kind-of lost the notion now. The reviews from lucky customers seem favourable though. Frenchieboy
You are of course perfectly correct Al and I would not dream of denying it as I am not a robber nor am I a con artist. The scope in question did come from Aldi and cost £19.99 at the time as it was on "Special Limited Offer"! The reviews for this scope stated that they were very good value for money, which I agree with, but I now have no use for mine which was used only once and put back in the box as I now have a much more expencive set of binoculars. I do not think I am being a "Cheeky Chappie" as I have stated that I would like to see £40.00 posted for the scope but I am open to sensible offers! Please do not get me wrong Al, I have not taken offence at what you have said as it is a fair point. However, I think that I have been reasonably fair to those people that would have liked to buy one but could not as they were in short supply. Hence I stand by what I have originally said - I would like to see £40.00 (Posted) for it but please feel free to make me a SENSIBLE OFFER! I could have put it straight on fleabay where they are making upwards of £40 or £50 (Plus post and packaging) but thought I would give Pigeonwatch Members first chance to save a few pounds. Frenchieboy
"the bipods are £20 new lol" I was not aware that the cost of these bipods "lock&load" and quite clearly stated this when I said (and I quote from my original post) I am not sure on the value of this bipod so I am going to ask for £20.00 posted but if you feel that this is too high please feel free to make a SENSIBLE OFFER. I think i have been honest and fair enough about this unless you think otherwise, if so please feel free say so. Edit: I have just looked on ebay and found the same bipod that I am selling at £28.50 + £4.50 P&P and NOT £20.00 as lock&load has stated. Please feel free to check at: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CLAMP-ON-BIPOD_W0QQi...=item3ca9549ae7 If anyone else would like to fault me or wants to try to make me look like some sort of rip off artist maybe they would be good enough to read the original post properly and get their facts right first! Frenchieboy
ive got one of these spotting scopes, and they are worth a damn sight more than £40. Thanks for the "vote of confidence" MM. I have to agree with you but they are now "surplus to requirement" and might help another PW member out! As I have said if people took the time to read the original post properly I am open to sensible offers. Anyone that knows me will confirm that I am not a rip off artist or a con man!
