sandspider
Hi all Took my new gun (Baikal O/U 12g) out today for the first time. Did pretty well, but only fired about 50 shots and have a fairly bruised shoulder! (Not normal for me). I'm looking to fit a rubber recoil pad to see if that helps, but I think the gun may be a bit low in the comb for me - can anyone reccomend a good gun smith / shop nearish to Bristol for gun fit advice? (My nearest is New Avon Arms, but not had much help there from the bloke in the past). Avalon guns is also near-ish to me, but I don't know if they have anyone who knows about gun fit and can adjust the stock if necessary... Cheers for any suggestions. MartynGT4
Look up a chap called Jim Wells from Bath, should be able to find his details if you search for them. Comes very well recommended.

Tin Man Work
Mike Grimshaw at Shooting Party your side of Malmesbury has done some good stock adjustments for a couple of my mates; he diagnoses well and gets the gun done quickly. From Bristol it's about a 30 munte drive east. Can't put any details up here but if you Google him he's easy to find in Pinkney - best to ring him first as he's open Saturdays but evening appointments for the rest of the week. Cheers.
