Fountain
Hi I've recently joined the forum and only got my gun yesterday (686e). I'm now after a cleaning kit. I wondered if anyone has any recommendations? Also does anyone have a kind of guide/order of cleaning of what's cleaned first to last, what oils, how much oil, etc thanks for any help Does anyone use those VP90 sachets that go in the cabinet? It had everything rods brushes bore cleaner etc. It was about £30 but ive seen them cheaper on the internet.
Bagsy
Adam - one tip, don't waste your money on expensive cleaning patches. Use kitchen roll in your jag. It's just as effective and very cheap

Dekers
There are a lot of cleaning kits on the market and to be fair it's probably a good way to start if you are new to the game..just don't spend a fortune on one...use it and you wil learn whats good, bad, indifferent and then when you steadily replace all the bits, as you will, you will know what you want/know what to avoid!!
