marky the sparky
hi, is it worth getting a ratcatcher? i've heard rumours that the seals perish & that its not that great a rifle, any opinons?
tosspot
Hunter no, plinker yes, IMO you get what you pay for, infinately "customisable" bucketloads of S/H spares on the BBS where these have been modded I got a blown up up given me, repaired very cheaply, good bit of fun but I personally wouldn't use it in standard trim in the field, other than short range stuff TP
mattw975
For short to medium range hunting it is fine when tuned. The seals only perish if you don't look after it (always use lubricated powerlets & you'll be fine). Cheap, rugged & very tuneable (have got mine set up with an extended bolt, power adjuster & heavier hammer spring & it does 10.5 FPE at 15 Celsius) hi, is it worth getting a ratcatcher? i've heard rumours that the seals perish & that its not that great a rifle, any opinons? SBSRANGER
I bought one when they first came out. My kids have been using it today. Cracking little guns, great for plinking. Cost at the time about £80.00. I had to replace the valve seal on it recently apart from that never had a problem,
bullet boy
It's ok for short range Ratting.
Dekers
I recon it has been said, it is primarily a "fun", short range gun out of the box. Put simply you won't find many Gamekeepers using one, that said, it has been around a while now so it must fulfill a need.
