Hypa Flaps

Managed to break both of the thin carbon rods that make the hypa-flaps 'flap' this morning. Down to my last pair, the thicker ones, that came with the flappers. Does anyone have any going spare or could direct me to a site that sells them please?

Have you done a search on the forum? There was very similar thread recently and in it there was a link to a place that sold cardon fibre bar stock in various different thicknesses from a 1mm upwards I seem to remember.

 

I'll have a look too and post it if I find it.

Go to the crafts and D I Y section bottom of the list on forums there is a fibre glass rod supplier there :good

its about twenty posts down entitled -fiberglass rods ! best of luck BM

I bought some of the first Hypa Flaps and have only ever used the thicker brown rods, they seem to be OK in all wind conditions.

 

You can get replacements from UKSW, link at the top of the page.
