  1. Couldn't find any sizing info on the website, any chance you can let me know what the measurement is from armpit to armpit when laid flat.
  2. I can vouch for the panel and their "as new" condition, had one several months ago from HPR Munster, super item, BP panels are good panels, use the larger varities for work on offshore calm buoys in africa. if there good there, they'll walk any appllicatuion you have at home or in the field. In fact, I'm toying with the idea of having this one, but busy with other "projects" at the mo.
  3. whoops, wrong thread
  4. Commonly referred to as the "PMR446" band. It's an unlicenced band in the UK and as correctly pointed out above has specific frequency and power limitations. The main problem is, the same type of radio for use in the unlicenced bands in the US use some of the frequencies the emergency services use here in the UK. I'm not saying dont use them, just be careful and consider where you do, the likely hood is with the transition to the use of Trunked and Tetra radios for the em. services interference will be unlikely but bare it in mind.
  5. Edit: Sorry., change of mind
  6. Doesn't the current Gov' claim on fuel through what ever taxes/duties applied amount to about 80+p/litre?? anyone know the official figure? Time to start taking advantage of your 2500litre/yr "personal biodiesel production allowance" from HMRC without needing to pay duty. I've started to look seriously into it, need to see what the details are of meeting the fuel standards entails.
  7. Hi, Couple of questions..... Which talkabout model are they? Were they purchased in the UK, specifically, not purchased or imported from the US. Are you open to offers?

  14. Saw this link posted by a "Friend" on Facebook. Used to go to school with her nearly 20 years ago, not spoke since but she's active animal rights so quite like to keep an eye on her so to speak. http://raptorpersecutionscotland.wordpress.com/2011/01/25/gamekeeper-charged-with-wildlife-crime-firearms-offences-at-holkham-estate-norfolk/ Not an official report by the looks of it but basic details appear to be valid.
  15. I love that program, it's excellent. Never seen that one. Well worth putting on your planner if you can along with "How it's made"

  19. I don't think Tony Martin is up to much these days, not seen him on the local news for a bit, he may be able to offer some good tips on home security.
  20. If you're at the store first thing Thursday morning and first through the door. My local stores had all of about 1 each last time.
  21. Must have been sticking to his new years resolution diet then
  22. Wise words. I have both, aqua panel in en suite and tiles in main bathroom, both very nice. However, got a shower I haven't used in 9 months in the main bathroom because I thought I could "do it myself" and still haven't got round to getting a professional in to sort it. Lesson learnt there thats for sure.
  23. Yes, with hind sight whilst factual my post may be considered a little insensitive, apologies to anyone that may have found it distasteful.
  24. I saw a program on it once, years ago. They shovel you out of the burner and stick you in a big washing machine thing with large metal balls in and put you on gentle cycle for a bit, turns you in a that nice powdery finish. Trouble is, I don't think that machine is too easy to get all the bits out of so the resultant powder is a bit of everyone thats been through it on the last few goes.
