Cranfield
Who are you calling "GUTS". Your jills should be coming into season soon. I have always separated my jills so they had their litters alone, but I have friends who leave their jills together and they don't seem to have any problems. Having enough room so they can have their own space is important.

Ferretertom
Good advise cranfeild, i wouldnt recomend breeding to many i keep a hob vasectomised to take the others out of season or you could get your least favorite jabbed. You will need alot of different nest boxes for each jill i recon if they were in a large court alot of effort all are capable of having 10 kits as you probly no. They will be coming in season soon keep a close eye on them check every day.

They will be coming in season soon keep a close eye on them check every day.

Ferret Master
3 jills will produce A LOT of kits. Without trying to sound rude here, your post comes across like you have not bred ferrets before. This makes me wonder why you want 3 litters of kits which could all of a sudden leave you with 30+ mouths to feed? FM
stubby
I too would advise you not to breed, as you need to ask a simple question of "when will my jills be ready" all jills come into season at different times, noticable by the swelling of the vulva, so in answer to your question, only you will know Id recomend you get a jill jab done on each for this year, and take this time to read up on breeding, although jills can be left together to rear there young, you'd then find it hard to see which kitts belong to which mother, not good if you end up with good and bad ferts and not know their parentage also as stated, thats a possible 30 plus kitts, far better to breed one, and jab two, leaving the two in as surrogate aunts

Ferret Master
That sounds like a better plan. Nice to see someone that actually takes advice on board. :look: Ferrets can be quite strange mothers when the kits are young if you go near them so its worth reading up on breeding them as much as you can.
