aauser
just had two really good days on freshly drilled barley. started off yesterday with 12 flocked shells set in a L shaped pattern, and two bouncers spaced back .for three hours shot 26, using 30g 6carts ,birds decoyed really well for a while then slowed up, but very enjoyable shooting. back again today birds still a plenty shot 46 and two crows .slightly different aproach today used dead bird decoys wot a difference they make, and the birds just dropped in like they were made of stone .and just as i was putting them in the car the farmer turns up and he looked suitably impressed.seeing as this was the first time i have shot this permission ,it could not have gone better. ime just busting to get back on there as soon as possible, you have to show keen dont you !!!!! Cranfield
A good result, especially as the Farmer saw the proof you are doing a good job. On new permission its always a good idea to see if the Farmer, or any of the Farmworkers, are interested in having any fresh shot pigeons dropped off.
