Hi, Does any body know the diference between beretta o/u action width's I understand some are wider than others,Does anybody have the measurments, and when they changed on what models.

It was the 686/687 series about 15 yrs ago. The earlier action was about 2mm wider.

Cole guns say "Stock and forend sets for 680 series 12ga will fit ALL current 1.525" frame size 686, 687 and 682 models. (These sets do not fit the older 1.585" frame width models discontinued in 1993) The frame size is the width measured just in front of the breech across the recoil shoulders."

Thanks mate, that's what I wanted, dimentions. now I know its a wide stock i need for my old beretta.

I rang gmk and they said new stocks will fit the older actions however the step at the wood metal junction is less goes from 2mm to 1mm or there abouts otherwise it fits fine.
