Enzo
Well, as Friday was such a lovely day, in Brighton anyway. Decided to take the afternoon off and shoot a few clays. Thought I would treat my brother to a round of 100 Bird Sporting. 686E and 391 Semi-Auto packed in van, quick drive to Southdown Gun Club, box of shells and away we go! I was using 24gn shells just to try and break myself in gently - never done 100 clays before and a brand new gun. My brother was using standard 28's. There were 10 stands with 10 birds on each. On the last stand I had a few carts left so let the boy who took us around shoot these off. He had the choice of either the 686 or the 391. Guess what, he went for the 391 Semi Auto! No sense of style these boys.. Anyways, a thoroughly good time was had by all and I will be back for some more. The scores? Well I managed to hit more than half (not much more mind). Very pleased considering I've only had one lesson and this was my first 'proper' shoot with the gun. Hope this is in the correct section, sorry if its not. Dunkield
Well done mate! I started with a 686 and only flogged it to get a 687 as I wanted a 30" with a bit more weight. They are fine guns and used by loads of shooting schools, so you know they can take a hammering!

wacker
I used my 686e yesterday shooting 120 bird sporting, i've not used it for a while as i have been using the semi. Now the semi is up for sale! The Beretta is such a nice gun with a good feel, i'm glad i picked the 30" barrel!
