njc110381 Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 I wouldn't worry about it too much. They actually seem to work better when they get a bit dirty. I used to do mine now and again, about every 500 rounds or so perhaps. All I used to do was take it apart and use a dry 12g bronze brush to get the bulk of the muck out of the holes and tube then vaseline the threads and stick it back together. For £30 it's really not worth spending the money on the cleaner. You'll find you spend more money on cleaner in the life of the mod than it would cost to buy a new one!
