djrwood
Which do you prefer? My second gun was a Browning 425 which i love and still shoot regularly. Was Browning all the way until i recently bought a Beretta Urika 2 semi and what a bit of kit that is. I see the beretta as a bit of a refined gentlemans gun, whereas the Browning is a big old lump of a mans gun. Got to say i love em both, and they both bring down birds so cant ask more than that. RC45
I have never used a Browning, but I have used a Miroku. I never got on with my Silver Pigeon and changed to a UGB25. I must say off all the shotguns I have used, the UGB is the business. Since I am not a gun snob I had an open mind to a Semi Auto and can say this gun fits very well. I took the oppertunity to take some training at the weekend and my score has improved no end. I am over six foot and the UGB fits very well, not sure how the Brownings fit. COACH
I`v had lots of both over the years and they are both very good. They do however feel very different so it`s a personal thing. Personally I like the Beretta. But the Browning woodwork often feels more comfortable because there is not quite so much of it, it`s generally slimmer. Respect your opinion but to my eye there is a lot more more wood and bulk on a Browning than your average Beretta. The action on Browning shotties is deeper. I'm a die hard fan of browning guns so I have to be biased. Edited June 1, 2010 by Whitebridges
djrwood
Of the limited browning and berettas I have had my hands on I would have to say that I believe there's more on a browning then a beretta. I see the browning as a big old lump that you can use as a walking stick until a bird comes over and then flip it up and get your dinner. They really are built to last and serve a purpose. Where as the berettas are more refined and although still venomous a bit easier to handle/manouvre. The brownings like a ford gt whereas the berettas a lambo. Riding them both is always a pleasure.
