955i
I have seen lots of posts that mention hide poles, but wondered whether anyone had tried making a camo net 'tent' using the elasticated slot-together tent poles and a few guy ropes? They are light and fold down fairly small and can be bent to a variety of positions so would have thought they would be ideal.
UKPoacher
Yes, they are OK in the thicker sizes and in limited situations. The usual ones that you get with beach shelters won't carry any great weight. They are useful as lofting poles though

humperdingle
I've got one of the Pop-up tents by Gelert - Have considered cutting a hole out of the roof, and draping some camo material over it. Would be an ideal hide, and would keep you out of the wind
