Colster
Idiots Seems a little harsh, I tend to bring back all I shoot, including the young ones but once boned out you do sometimes wonder if they're worth it. Quite acceptable to leave them out of sight in a hedge in my view as long as you've established they are dead and not suffering. Having said that it's possible a dog would sniff it out anyway but I don't have dog walkers to worry about where I shoot currently.

Best not to litter the countryside...but there are few areas with rabbit and no fox!
Al Downie
Depends on the circumstances and the environment. I shoot rabbits on three different locations - two of them are working shoots and the LAST thing we want to do is encourage or support foxes etc, so I always remove all the carcasses off site. I generally take a couple for the table, a couple for training the dog, and I carry the rest away and dump them on another farm which is a long way from any shoot. But the other place where I shoot rabbits is on a business park, where there is no shoot - when we're finishing up there we just chuck all the extra carcasses into some dense bramble/blackthorn/tree cover, where foxes will take them before daybreak. However, now that foxes have started eating people, I might have to review my position...
